BERNARD ROBINSON MEDICAL UPDATE



East Rutherford, NJ–Following a medical examination today, October 8, 2007, it has been determined that Nets guard/ forward Bernard Robinson suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee during the Nets practice on Saturday, October 6 at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Nets President Rod Thorn announced today. There is no timetable for his return.

After being acquired by the Nets in exchange for Jeff McInnis and cash considerations on 1/3/07 Robinson went on to appear in 10 games for New Jersey during the 2006-07 season. A three-year NBA veteran, the 45th overall selection out of Michigan in the 2005 NBA Draft holds career averages of 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 128 career games with Charlotte and New Jersey.
